Young at Heart
I have worked hard to get a good education. I have been successful in my chosen field. I have raised my family and seen them build homes of their own. But now I am facing a change... like a butterfly bursting from it’s cocoon.
Yes, my body is growing older, but, silly as it sounds, I am still thirteen on the inside. My mind still dances in a field of daisies and I long to play leap-frog with my grandchildren. At the same time I can’t remember where I put the car keys or climb the small hill in my back yard! In the midst of all of this the Lord has provided a New Place for me. A place to grow, A place of adventure, And a place for a young heart.
Lord, help me explore this wonderful, New Place in my life.
Watch for the new thing I am going to do. It is happening already - you can see it now! I will make a road through the wilderness and give you streams of water there. Isaiah 43:19 Good News Bible
